Drugs

Drugs are really bad and a lot of people smoke it. People die every year because of smoking. Smoking injures your whole body. Some people smoke because they think that it makes them look cool. A lot of people also smoke because of peer pressure. Here’s a story about my cousin and smoking experience.
My cousin David use to be a normal boy that went to school everyday. He was 14 years old when it all happened. He was with his friends and they convinced him to smoke with peer pressure. At first it seemed like nothings wrong but slowly he was addicted and the drugs slowly took over his body. I noticed that he was losing his breath quicker by the days.
My cousin also kept on coughing. Soon he was coughing out blood. I thought that my cousin was wasting tons of money. The drugs are very expensive because they costed like $6.50 for a pack of newports. It didn’t make much sense because he was paying to hurt his body. My cousin use to be in the track team for a school in Brooklyn and when he ran he jus dropped on the floor. He claimed he was tired but we all know the truth. My point is that drugs kill you. They injure your organs; it turns your lungs black and your teeth yellow. You can even risk getting heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease, abdominal aortic aneurysm, hypertension, cancer: lung, laryngeal, oral, esophageal, bladder, kidney, carcinoma of the pancreas, stomach, cervical cancer, hematopoietic and lots of other disease. There’s so many I can’t name them all.
In conclusion, I am just trying to spread the message that drugs are bad. They harm your body and basically just kill you and every single puff taken is killing you with out you knowing. Have you ever seen anti drugs commercials and how they show the consequences, well, you should listen to them. There are a lot of programs outside in the world that help you with drug problems. One program is the D.A.R.E (Drugs Abuse Resistant Education) program. They teach you about all types of drugs and consequences and how to think smart. Cocaine, marijuana, weed and cigarettes all kill you. Again….Drugs kills you, don’t do it!
